Connect DP (“Connect DP”, “the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by DigiKartel.
Connect DP is a daily business productivity and follow-up management app designed to help users manage business activities, customer follow-ups, daily tasks, business captions, post content, reminders, learning content, and related productivity activities.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be stored, collected, processed, or shared when you use Connect DP and describes the choices available to you.
By using Connect DP, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
- INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO THE APP
Connect DP does not currently require users to create an account or sign in.
You may voluntarily enter information into the App, including:
- Customer names
- Customer phone numbers
- Customer interests or categories
- Customer status
- Follow-up dates
- Customer notes
- Business profile information
- Product information
- Daily task information
- Planner information
- Reminder preferences
- Content preferences
- Other information that you choose to enter into the App
This information is primarily used to provide the App’s business planning, customer follow-up, reminder, personalization, and productivity features.
- LOCAL CUSTOMER AND PLANNER DATA
Customer and planner information entered by you is stored locally on your device.
This may include:
- Customer names
- Phone numbers
- Customer notes
- Customer interests
- Follow-up status
- Follow-up dates
- Planner records
- Daily task completion status
- Streak or activity information
- Business profile information
- Product information
- Reminder preferences
- App preferences
- Locally saved content or feature state
DigiKartel does not operate a server that uploads or stores this locally entered customer or planner information as part of the normal Connect DP functionality.
We do not intentionally send customer names, customer phone numbers, customer notes, or locally stored planner records to Firebase Analytics.
Local information generally remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and should avoid entering highly sensitive information that you do not want stored on your device.
- GOOGLE ANALYTICS FOR FIREBASE
Connect DP uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve its features, reliability, performance, and user experience.
Firebase Analytics may automatically collect or process information such as:
- App opens
- Session information
- Screen views
- Feature interactions
- App engagement
- Device type and model
- Operating system information
- App version
- Device and application identifiers
- General diagnostics
- Approximate geographic information derived from signals such as IP address
- Other technical or usage information processed by Google Analytics for Firebase
Connect DP may also send privacy-safe event information such as whether a user opened a feature, copied content, generated content, shared content, completed a task, completed a follow-up, or interacted with a reminder.
We design our analytics events to avoid intentionally sending:
- Customer names
- Customer phone numbers
- Customer notes
- Private CRM records
- Full message contents
- Full captions entered by users
- Personally identifying customer information
Google processes Analytics information according to Google’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
- ADVERTISING
Connect DP uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
The App may display advertising formats including:
- Interstitial advertisements
- Rewarded advertisements
- Other Google-supported advertising formats that may be added in future versions
Rewarded advertisements are generally shown only when a user voluntarily chooses to watch an advertisement in exchange for access to an eligible feature or content.
Interstitial advertisements may appear at appropriate transition points during normal App usage and may be subject to frequency controls.
Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect or process information including:
- Advertising identifiers
- Device identifiers
- App interaction information
- Advertising interaction information
- Device information
- IP address
- Approximate location information
- Diagnostic information
- Consent information
- Other information necessary to provide, measure, secure, and personalize advertising where permitted
The exact information processed may depend on your device, region, privacy choices, Google settings, and applicable law.
We do not sell your locally stored Connect DP customer or planner information to advertisers.
- CONSENT MANAGEMENT AND PRIVACY CHOICES
Connect DP uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage privacy and advertising consent where required by applicable laws.
Users located in certain regions, including the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, may be shown a consent message before certain advertising or analytics processing takes place.
Depending on the applicable region and configuration, users may be able to:
- Consent
- Do not consent
- Manage privacy options
- Review advertising purposes
- Review participating advertising partners
- Change or withdraw previous consent choices
Where available, Connect DP provides access to privacy choices so that users can review or change applicable consent preferences.
Consent choices may affect whether personalized advertising, non-personalized advertising, limited advertising, analytics storage, or certain other processing is available.
If consent is declined, some advertising or measurement functionality may be limited or unavailable.
Google’s consent management platform may communicate applicable consent signals to Google advertising and analytics services.
- NOTIFICATIONS
Connect DP may send local notifications for features such as:
- Daily business reminders
- Customer follow-up reminders
- Reminder reliability tests
- Other productivity reminders that you choose to enable
Notification permission is requested only when appropriate for a reminder-related feature.
You may decline notification permission.
You may disable notifications at any time through:
- Connect DP settings, where available; or
- Your Android device notification settings
Connect DP may check whether notification permission is currently enabled so that it can inform you if scheduled reminders may not be delivered.
On some Android devices, especially devices with aggressive battery or background restrictions, Connect DP may provide instructions to help improve reminder reliability.
The App does not silently enable manufacturer-specific background or battery settings without your action.
- REMINDER RELIABILITY AND DEVICE SETTINGS
Some Android manufacturers may restrict applications from running or delivering scheduled notifications while the App is closed.
Connect DP may:
- Detect whether Android notifications are permitted
- Provide device-specific setup guidance
- Allow you to perform a reminder delivery test
- Store locally whether a reminder delivery test was successfully verified
- Open relevant Android settings when you choose to do so
Manufacturer-specific settings such as background autostart or battery restrictions may not always be directly readable by Android applications.
For this reason, Connect DP may verify actual reminder delivery rather than claiming that a manufacturer-specific setting is enabled.
- PHOTOS, IMAGES, FILES, AND CONTENT CREATION
Certain Connect DP features may allow you to select an image, product photo, logo, or other content from your device for use inside a post, business profile, or content creation feature.
When you voluntarily choose such content, the App may access the selected file only as necessary to provide the requested feature.
Connect DP may also create or save generated images or content locally on your device.
Your selected business images or locally generated content are not intentionally uploaded to DigiKartel servers as part of the normal offline/local functionality unless a future feature clearly informs you otherwise.
- SHARING FEATURES
Connect DP allows users to copy, save, or share content.
You may choose to share:
- Captions
- Generated posts
- Business content
- Images
- Lessons
- App information
- Other content generated or displayed inside Connect DP
Sharing may use Android’s system sharing functionality and third-party apps installed on your device, such as messaging or social media applications.
Once you choose a third-party application for sharing, that third party handles the information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
DigiKartel does not control the privacy practices of third-party applications.
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Connect DP may use third-party services including:
- Google AdMob
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase services
- Google Play services
- Android system services
- Android sharing functionality
- Third-party applications selected by users for sharing
These services may independently collect or process information according to their respective privacy policies, terms, consent choices, and applicable laws.
We encourage users to review Google’s privacy policies and the privacy policies of any third-party service they choose to use.
- PERSONALIZED AND NON-PERSONALIZED ADVERTISING
Depending on your location, consent choice, device settings, advertising settings, and applicable law, Google may provide:
- Personalized advertisements
- Non-personalized advertisements
- Limited advertisements
- Contextual advertisements
If you decline certain advertising purposes, personalized advertising may be disabled or certain ads may not be available.
Your advertising experience may also depend on Google account settings, device advertising settings, and applicable privacy regulations.
- DATA SHARING
We do not sell the locally stored customer and planner information that you enter into Connect DP.
Information may, however, be processed by third-party service providers used by the App, such as Google, for purposes including:
- Advertising
- Analytics
- App functionality
- Fraud prevention
- Security
- Diagnostics
- Measurement
- Consent management
- Service improvement
Such processing is governed by the applicable third-party provider’s terms, privacy policy, user consent, and applicable law.
- DATA RETENTION
Locally stored Connect DP information remains on your device until:
- You delete the information inside the App where deletion is available
- You clear Connect DP’s application storage
- You uninstall the App
- Android or the device removes the application data
Information processed by Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Google Play services, or other third-party services may be retained according to those providers’ own retention policies and settings.
DigiKartel does not control all retention periods used by third-party service providers.
- DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable measures when designing Connect DP to reduce unnecessary collection of personal information.
Customer and planner information is primarily stored locally, which reduces the need to transmit private CRM information to DigiKartel servers.
However, no device, software, storage system, or method of electronic processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for:
- Protecting access to your phone
- Using appropriate device security
- Protecting customer information that you enter into the App
- Complying with applicable laws when storing information about your own customers or contacts
- YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR CUSTOMER INFORMATION
If you enter information about another person into Connect DP, such as a customer’s name, phone number, notes, or follow-up information, you are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate legal basis or permission to store and use that information.
Connect DP is a tool provided to you for organizing your own business activities.
DigiKartel does not independently obtain consent from your customers on your behalf.
- YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide rights regarding personal information, including rights to:
- Access certain information
- Correct certain information
- Delete certain information
- Restrict certain processing
- Object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent
- Manage advertising choices
- Request information about data processing
For information stored only locally inside Connect DP, you can generally control or delete that information directly through the App, by clearing App data, or by uninstalling Connect DP.
For information processed directly by Google or another third-party provider, applicable privacy requests may need to be submitted to that provider.
- UNITED STATES PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state privacy laws.
Where required, Connect DP and its third-party consent or advertising services may provide applicable privacy choices.
We do not sell locally stored Connect DP customer or planner data for monetary consideration.
Advertising providers may process data for advertising purposes where permitted by law and according to applicable consent and privacy choices.
- EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA, UNITED KINGDOM, AND SWITZERLAND
For users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Connect DP uses a consent management mechanism for advertising and related processing where required.
Applicable users may be presented with options to:
- Consent
- Decline consent
- Manage individual purposes and vendors
- Change or withdraw consent later
Where consent is the legal basis for processing, you may withdraw that consent.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.
- INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Third-party providers used by Connect DP, including Google, may process information on servers located outside your country.
Where required, such providers are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards for international transfers according to applicable law.
Locally stored Connect DP customer and planner data is generally retained on your device unless you choose to share or export it using another service.
- CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Connect DP is not directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly design the App to collect personal information directly from children under 13.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information in circumstances that require removal, please contact us.
- NO SALE OF LOCAL CRM DATA
DigiKartel does not sell customer names, customer phone numbers, customer notes, follow-up records, or other CRM information stored locally inside Connect DP.
The advertising and analytics services described in this Privacy Policy may independently process technical, advertising, consent, and usage data under their own policies.
- CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:
- Changes to Connect DP
- New or modified features
- Changes to advertising or analytics services
- Changes to privacy laws
- Changes to Google Play or third-party service requirements
- Security or operational improvements
